My LiFe As A sErVeR!!!!

i dont know if any of you guys out there know that servers live on their tips ! not their pay check!!
ya im not lying! at least here in CALIFORNIA thats how it is! 
i got my 2 week pay check today i work 4 days a week and usually less than 5 hrs thats how our restaurant works!! anyway can u guess how much i got for my 8 days of work ( 2 weeks) i got $88.00 can u believe that???? ( the IRS takes 15% of my claimed tips plus 8% of my gross sales)
with that said it really upsets me when people dont tip the 15 - 18 % of their bill...!!! some people dont even tip the tax of their bill!!


honestly if people do not have enough money to go to a nice restaurant and leave a good tip then they should not go out...... go to mc donalds or burger king or something!!
YES I DO REALIZE that there are some really sucky servers out there and yes if you feel u got bad service then you should not leave a good tip at all trust me i've had bad servers before but i still leave a tip!
i dont consider myself a bad server i always have a smile on my face even if im having a crappy day or i have problems... i know people go out to dinner to maybe forget about their own problems so the leasts i can do for them is give them a smile and be of service!! 
well when i do that and people leave me a 2 or 4 dollar tip on a 70 dollar bill it really upsets me ...


theres different people out there 
1) theres the super nice people that have a smile on their face and say PLEASE and THANK YOU! .... and they leave the right tip
2) theres the people hat from the moment they walk in the restaurant feel that they have the right to treat u like you're their slave...!!
3) theres the needy people everytime you go to the table they need something else! do they realize that as a server you dont only have 1 table sometimes you have 5 other tables full of people that also need you attention! and God forbid you forget something because the world is gonna end (im sorry im only human and YES I DO FORGET STUFF)
4) theres the stupid people!....... lol 
people that would ask you something about the menu ...u explain and they still dont get it! ITS OK I CAN EXPLAIN AGAIN....

SITUATION 2


* i have this coupon  and i also wanna use this other coupon
- im sorry sir you can only use one or the other 
* and why is that?
- well its company policy
* but why?
- idk sir i only follow orders from my boss.. plus if YOU READ THE FINE PRINT  it says CANNOT BE COMBINE WITH ANY OTHER OFFERS OR COUPONS
* well i never read the fine print....let me talk to your manager bacause im sure i can use both of these today! 
- sure sir i'll get u the manager right now.....
(manager goes to the table and talks to the guy..... manager comes and talks to me.." I TOLD HIM HE CAN NOT USE BOTH OF THE COUPONS TODAY AND HE SAID OK)
- (im walking to the table thinking WHAT DID I TELL YOU?)....
ok sir so what can i get for you??????




and some awesome days you get that one table that is all 2, 3 and 4 cases....ALL IN ONE!!!!

the majority of servers out there are trying to pay for school or house basically have a future so please next time you go out to a restaurant look at your server and smile at him/her and think about why that person is there he/she is trying to earn a living ..... that person that is carrying your food and beverages is a regular human being that is counting on your tip to pay bills!!!

Disneyland!!

yay one of my favorite places is DISNEYLAND !!!
i went yesterday with my boyfriend we had a lot of fun and we dressed up as PIRATES!!! AAARRR!!
i had a headache all day long and as im typing i still have it... =((( but is 10 times better than this morning!!

i took some pictures BUT idk how to upload them on the blog...lol !!!

i have cleaning to do tomorrow my room needs some good deep cleaning.. and my awesome boyfriend is gonna help me!! yay!!!!

well guys i still dont know where in the world who is or will be reading this!! however whoever you are have a fantastic day or night...!!!

oh no tomorrow's monday

haha!! so its sunday night! i know im sorry i said i was gonna be back friday night but i've been so tired! 
i wanted to tell u a lil bit about my weekend on the job.....as you know im a waitress at a steak place!!!
i did not have any weirdos this weekend ...THANK GOD =)
i worked today in the AM and it was soooooo slow i only served 3 tables and i was sent home =( meaning i did not make any money =,( (tear...lol) 
i went shopping tho but i only bought things i needed!!!! like shampoo and all that stuff


changing the subject im sooo excited im going to MICKEYS HALLOWEEN PARTY @ DISNEYLAND ON TUESDAY!!! im gonna dress up as a pirate!!!!!  i will take pics and post them..


ok guys im a little sleepy i think im gonna go to bed!

uugghh!!!

well im kinda tired i was excited cause i was making cupcakes with my home made buttercream frosting...first of all my cupcakes were huge they looked like muffins!!!! i burned my finger checking if they were cooked all the way...when i was ready to start decorating them my buttercream starting melting!!! i was really upset so i put my buttercream away and i started frosting them with this other frosting i bought at the store!! ..... =((

oh and on tuesday i went to the salon to get my hair done .. i've been wanting to change my hair color to a medium brown color (my hair color is kinda dark brown almost black) anyways ....what did i get??????
black hair!!!.... i kinda like it tho !!!  =)

i have to go to work tomorrow!!! IF I GET WEIRD PEOPLE I'LL WRITE ABOUT IT!! HAHA...

no one in my family knows about this blog not even my boyfriend or my friends the reason is i dont want them reading it.. u might ask  WHY???? .....well i want  people that dont know me and that i dont know to get to know me from my blog! (one day i might tell them about it and i will let u know when i do) 

dont expect perfect english or grammar from this blog cause u wont get it!! I DONT HAVE A MAJOR IN ENGLISH.... with that said....!!!

im 23 i waitress at a steak place... i dont like fake people if you dont wanna talk to me then dont!

i love music specially rock it makes me relax and forget about my problems!

i have arguments with my family members just like any other family and i dont always agree with my boyfriend but we always solve our differences i've always believed that a good relationship is based in good communication and trust I LOVE MY BOYFRIEND (u guys will learn more about him later =)..)

i think this 1st blog is getting way to big plus im getting kinda sleepy so im gonna stop for now but will continue soon..!!
